We decided to take a short day trip in the newly repaired Trailblazer up to Arbuckle Wilderness in the Arbuckle mountains near Davis, Oklahoma today. It was a great trip, the Trailblazer handled fantastically and we had a blast.

What is the Arbuckle Wilderness? It's a multi-attraction animal-based park, drive-through safari, petting-zoon and mini-amusment park. There is about an hour-long drive-through petting-feeding zoo, with animals as diverse as deer, wild bearded hogs, zebras, girraffes and some massive-looking prehistoric beasts that just about took up the whole Trailblazer window.

We feed them all, and some ostriches and emus as well. Then took a trip around the go-kart track on a nice dual-seat kart. That was a blast. We saw other stuff like Spider monkeys and some mating turtles too.

Anyhow, if you get a chance, that's a great day trip from DFW, Texas or Oklahoma City. I guess there's probably an each 200 mile radius where it could be a day trip.

Anyhow, I'll post some photos and video soon. it was a great trip!

Steve got some road directions? I think the granddaughter would like to visit the park.

Looks like your family had a blast Steve! Good to see the Trailblazer on the road again as well.

I had to laugh when I read the words "Spider Monkey" because of the "Talladega Nights" movie:

Texas Ranger:"Chip, I'm gonna come at you like a spider monkey!"

    Happy Easter!
