I am interested in buying a used 2002 Trailblazer. It's the LS model, two wheel drive, 4.2L six cyl, etc. Looks good, 45,000 miles on the odometer. They want $12,000 for it. Is that a good deal or not?

I live in Savanah, Georgia if that makes any difference or not. I am looking for some type of vehicle that is big, roomy, safe in an accident, but also one that gets dceent gas mileage. (like clost to 20 mpg).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds about right. A lot depends on the condition too. These rigs are built pretty well, but you never know how it was treated.

That's fairly low miles for a 2002, btw. Sunday driver only?

That would be pretty cheap in So. California for what you describe. Even if it were bare bones.

I think that the TB keeps its value pretty well. It's probably middle of the class for keeping its value.

That's a good deal, if you haven't jumped on it yet, go for it.

The Trailblazer and Envoy combined together are the #1 selling SUV in the country.

#1 is the Ford Explorer with 339,333 sales in 2004
#2 is the Chevy Trailblazer with 283,438 sales in 2004
#10 is the GMC Envoy with 134,897 sales in 2004

Combine #2+#10 and you get 418,335!
