hey i was wondering if silverado's are known for axle wrap. i've always had rangers and they are very common for axle wrap and the drive line thump and my 2000 silverado reg cab 5.3 4x4 is doing it and i was wondering if traction bars or whatever they are call would help? if it helps it has 3:73 ls, and it make the thump and you can feel it whenever you take off and stop. thanks for any help.

traction bars would definitely help a lot but usually they make them in lengths too match lift kits

If it clunks when you take off it could be a bad U joint. If not, traction bars should help with axle wrap.

Could just need some spring clamps like these.
