So today is my b-day, but my parents havent gotten me anything mainly because i have not specified anything i really want. So basically they told me to find something i like and they might order/buy it for me. I am obviously going to ask for somthing for my truck. I am looking for ideas as i am having trouble deciding on what to ask for. Cant be overly expensive. I would say no more then $100 at the most.

I currently have a LED light bar, chrome door handles, and a chrome gas door, so thoes are not an option.
    Thanks.

Well its hard hard to say since i dont know what kind of rig u got. But for a hundred bucks u could get a throttle body spacer. They make good power gains and make a nice whistle sound. Tinting is nice to, especialy double eyebrows on your front winshield. LMC also has really good-lookn tail lights for $99. Good luck.

:party:Happy Birthday! I agree, You could get a bug deflector, or some bed caps. These are a couple of ideas. Hope you get something great! Have a good day!

I'm going to have to disagree, the spacer is not really oging to help your enginge all that much. On some vehicles it's actually worse. I would get a custom intake done, depending on your local area you should be able to get a custom bent tube and filter for under $100. There is also the option of using Spectre intake parts to custom build your own. Either way, it'll be good! Can we have some pics when you're done?

Don't limit yourself to $100. Use the hundred to pay toward some more chrome. Maybe Body side moldings?

Get an HID kit from ddmtuning.com. They have a kit for $30 with a lifetime warranty.

Really? Wow, maybe I'll do that. What is the specs on it though, assuming this is what you installed.

Well since you already have the line of fire, why don't you get a set of big rig lights from recon. They are $98.00 for a 62" set, and they mount on the pinch rails under your rocker panels.

Wow thanks for all the great ideas. Tint or mabey HID's sound cool and didnt think of them. There were also some others that i will have to look into.
With HIDs, if i decide to buy a new style of headlights in the future, will i be able to swap the HID bulbs? Or would i have to buy a whole new set of bulbs

It depends... If you plan on buying a set of aftermarket "projector" style headlights, the HIDs might not fit... Most aftermarket "projector" headlights aren't deep enough to accept an HID buld...

What specs are you looking for? I actually got the $50 kit from DDM because i wanted the slim ballasts and the $30 kit has full size ballasts. If you're willing to deal with more of a hassle with the larger ballasts in order to save $20 i'm sure you could manage to find a place for them but the slim ballasts are just so small and easy to put anywhere. Here is a link to that kit:

I went with 35 watt 8000k's for my headlights and fog lights and here's the link to the slim ballast kits I got:
    http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=101&parent=85

And here is the link to a thread i made with pictures of my HID's in it:
    http://www.gmtruckclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36115&highlight=8000k

The install is very simple and straightforward. Highly recommended for anyone.

No problem. Hopefully you can get some! They make driving at night so much better and they look sweet :great: I think the 8000k is the perfect color because they look bluish and shine bright white on the road. If you want even more light output go with 6000k which is more white less blue but still has some blue to it.

I wouldn't put hid's in my highs because then you lose the ability to flash your highs (well you could but it's bad for your ballasts). I don't know why but whenever someone flashes me I have to prove to them I can get brighter:lol:
