The wife and I got back from minnesota here about 10 am this morning.

All told - (according to the DIC)

3,517.6 miles total round trip, there, driving in minnesota, and driving back.

    206.2 gallons of fuel burned.

    average MPG of 17.01.

over 63 hours according to the timer. not counting gas stops, food and what not.

    rolled over 80,000 miles.

had a head wind a good chuck of both to minnesota and back from.

ran a fairly consistent average of 70 mpg.

truck ran great! no isses, no hiccups.

even managed to rotate the tires in my dads wonderful heated shop!

now it deserves a good bath!

Welcome back to the USA . We all know Minnesota is Canadian . Lol
I drove to Nevada and back and got approximately the same mpg you got . I think that these vehicles are set to make oil companies prosperous.
I have had older trucks get above 20 mpg with same block but different fuel set ups. Best was '86 suburban with quadrant carb. 22 mpg average over 90,000 miles. It amazes me 20 years later we are getting worse mileage.
Glad you got back safe and sound.
