Trying to replace my lower ball joints, I removed the old ones, and cleaned up the holes. I tried press the new ones in with a cheater pipe and pull handle wothout any luck. Using some old machinist tools. I measured the inside of the ball joint holes and measured the diameter of the new ball joints. I was getting about .005 press fit.

My question is, dose anyone know how much press (in thousandts .001) should be or supposed to be for ball joints?
