I junst installed an Autopage RS665-2w remote start/alarm and everything works fine but the battery light on the dash and the odometer stays on even after the vehicle is off. I had to remove the fuse on the ignition wiring for the remote start to turn the lights off. any help would be appreciated.

Double check your connections. You made a mistake and now have a short to voltage. Go over your connections one by one until you find the problem.
