Who would they sell the Hummer brand to? probably to a country where gas is $.25 a gallon.

Looks like they're going to refocus and switch direction long-term. There is a need for all of these vehiicles, just maybe not mainstream anymore. Suburbans and trucks have their place ... just costs more to operate them.

I may buy a eleltric car someday for work and back, but I'll always own a 4x4, you can't haul a boat to the lake or move using a car lol. just have to suck up the gas prices :)

Your right about all things having there place. Mabey this means that people are starting to realize that you don't need to drive a full size truck/suv an hour to work each way getting 11-12 mpg. Theres no problem with owning one of these machines, but they use to be for work and playing on the weekends. Who knows, Mabey they can start building trucks for truck guys again and not this uni-body (ridgeline) crap. ITS NOT A TRUCK!!! Might make the industry put there focus back on the truck people that have, and always will, drive a truck because we need to.

But I am glad a few of family car features have made it over into the truck market. The interiors on trucks now sure are alot better then before. Can't have to many cubbies for work or camping on the weekends.
