billet grille replace or overlay

    i have a 2004 silverado does anyone have the billet grille that goes over tha original grille or did you replace the it post pics id like to see the defference before i buy what is your preferance thanks

    My grill is the "bolt over" style... It's a Carriage Works Grill, powdercoated gloss black

    Yep, still there... The factory gray large mesh... I'm probably gonna paint it black this spring/summer to hide it even more...

    My last truck had a Trenz stainless steel grille insert in it, all of the factory mesh was cut out for a nice clean look. I have had the bolt overs on other trucks, and it always bothered me that you could see the mesh behind it. Inserts are the professional way to go, a dremel will take care of the factory grille real easy.
