    Greetings,
    I recently bought an 04 2500HD.
It did NOT have a hitch.
I understand the electric brake controllers will attach to a factory plug which goes into fuse box.
BUT, what about installing a plug on my new hitch?
I noticed a covered plug up under the bed by the spare tire.
Is there another connector that plugs into this and then goes to whatever plug I use on the hitch?
I did not get an adapter in my glove box.-so am I correct, I will need 2 connectors from a dealer, one to controller, and one from plug in wiring harness up under bed to hitch plug?
    Thanks ahead of time, Mark

one you release the clip holding the plug under the bed there should be ample amout of harness to reach beyond the bumper, at least my 07 1500 classic did and so did my uncles 02 3500hd. the brake controller im not to sure of, check beside the obdII plug or anywhere up under the drivers kick panel thats my guess anyways
