Anybody done anything to inprove braking on 2000 Gmc 1/2 ton pickups? I have a 2000 Gmc Pickup extended cab long bed and the stoping power sucks. My 87 suburban stoped better with my boat or snowmobiles hooked up than my pickup does.

what commonly happens is the rear brakes are sticking, easiest fix take apart clean all surfaces where the pad touches down to the metal, what is happening is corrosion and rust is building up and making the pad not able to slide
