broken rear shock mount

I had thought about putting this in my other thread asking about shocks, but thought it best to ask about this specifically.

one of the upper shock mounts is broken on the rear of my 83 K20.

it looks to me like the head for the bolt that hold the top of the shock is just ratteling around inside a hole in the frame.

anyone have a good fix for this?

    tossing around a couple ideas:

    1. plate the frame in that location and replacing and re-drilling the bolt location with a new bolt.

    2. just replacing the bolt with a grade 8 of equivilant size and bolting that to the frame with a couple of hardend washers.

maybe this has been covered, but i coudnt find much in a search.

    any ideas?
