I'm thinking of getting brush guards put on my 1998 Chevy C1500, But I also want to install a set of tow hooks in the front. I know this might sounds like a dumb question, but if I have the hooks will I still be able to get the guards?

Where do the guards mount to on the frame?

on my jimmy the guard mounted where the tow hooks are so I had to lose the hooks, I'm not sure... but if you got longer bolts you should still be able to mount the hooks. hope it works out for ya

depends on the style of brush guard you put on. ive installed some that fill the frame holes where you hooks mount, and ive installed some that mount with your hooks and use the same bolt holes but the guard would be on the outside of the frame instead of inside

most of them I found mount where the tow hooks mount, so it may be one or the other sort of thing.
