Looking for a bull bar or a brush guard I can mount on my 2011 GMC sierra 1500. I want one that will allow me to retain my front tow hooks. Most of the ones I have looked at require the tow hooks to be removed, not something I want to do.

Hey Alex I don't know any bull bars that will allow you to keep your tow hooks unless it mounts to your bumper. I'm not a fan of those since they provide no protection to your front end. I was reluctant at first to remove the hooks, but haven't needed them yet. Good luck with your search.

I like the light bars. I saw one last week that was just a straight black tube. It had 4 lights on it too. Looked nice.

If you look at the HDX from Westin, I believe that might be what you want...you lose the OE towhooks, but they give options for theirs.

I installed a Westin TMax Winch Tray, and obviously it required removing the tow hooks, but they offer tow hooks that install on the winch tray. If you have any thoughts on buying a winch, the Westin or Warn are an option...
