On my 95 K1500 the cargo lamps will not turn on. I have changed the bulbs and checked the fuse. All my brake lights are fine. It would be nice to have the cargo lamps. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have a 12 volt tester? if so check the switch first then the fuse area

I agree with @Enkeiavalanche Uou need to test for power at the switch and then the bulb socket. Just remember that the cargo lamps on that year model does nor turn on unless the interior lights are on. I spent about half an hour trying to figure out what was wrong with a friends cargo light. Then I realized that I did not have the interior lights on!

Yeah, Pikey is right, it is just an external dome light.

I have a test light and a multimeter. I'll try it with the interior lights on. I did not know they had to be on

Do you have the Camper button? Next to your headlight switch their might be a button that when pressed it allows your doors to be open without the inside lights being on..
