changing fuel pump 2001 Suburban

    I'm in the process of changing my fuel pump. I'm to the point to disconnecting the fuel lines before I actualy drop the tank. The book says to disconnect them before dropping the tank, but they appear to be on top of tank. Can the tank be partialy lowered before disconnecting the lines.

    hi yes you should be able to drop it down to get the lines unpluged. ralph
