Some of you might find this helpful, it's a pretty good table showing what tires will fit with what lifts and if you need to trim or anything. May have been posted before, I found an old print out I had of it so I'd thought I'd share it.

That's a pretty good print out, and I had also found one on Mickey Thompson's website that was in a spreadsheet format and a little easier to read. They are very accurate too, my friend bought wheels and tires based on that info and it was spot on the money. Thanks for posting this for everyone, I was going to post mine but I was too lazy!:glasses:

    Leveling Kit

I have heard some leveling kits for the 08's wont fit 33"s. Is there one out there that will. I am eventually going fabtech 6 inch once I save the money but it will be a while. Should I just save for the 6inch or do leveling kit with33"s?

Your better off saving for the lift and going with 35" tires

I fit 33's on my 03 with a 2inch leveling kit and it looks pretty good. I am like you and am saving for a bigger lift later on but I just invested in the leveling kit to give it a good look for now. I would go for the leveling kit if you really want something done to your truck right now.

Any body out there running the NBS with leveling kit, whats the biggest tire I can fit with any major mods? I have lots of room in the fron back the back of the inner fender right now with 265's only gives me maybe 1/2 inch. is it a pain to punch it all back to fit bigger! going by the front I could almost fit 34's.

that chart isnt very accurate because im running 325/60/18 on my truck and it says i need a lift to fit them, i dont even have a leveling kit, all i did was cranked the bars and did some triming and they fit fine

I've got an 08 Sierra and put the readylift leveling kit in. They claim it brings the front end up 2.25" but I'd say its maybe 2" at the most. I've been running 305-55's on 20" rims and have had no problem. They rubbed on the mud guards when I first mounted them but without the guards there is no issue. The readylift website claims 33" tires will fit but it all depends on the width. Mine are wider because i like that look, so I think they are just over 12" wide, and about 32" tall. It all depends on your taste. For the rear I just added a leaf and had it rearched. Hope this helps with any issues.

    mickey thompson tire guide

The tire fitment guide is not 100% accurate. It says for my 08 silverado I need a 4inch lift to fit 285/70/17 on my truck, FALSE. I have them on now and they have never scrubbed and it has been offroad.

i have an 09 with a rough country 2" and am running 285/75/17 their 32.8 tall by 11.5 wide and i dont have any problems with them rubbing... i have about half an inch of space in the rear of my front tires before they rub... and this kit didnt actually give me two inches... it cost me $64 i think for the kit and took about 45 minutes to install
