2005 Chev silverado 3500 6.6 Diesel; Hey all, just wondering if anyone has ever experienced any issues with the blower inside the cab. It will not turn on, on any of the 5 settings, really makes is difficult in the winter to keep the windows clear.

The most common issue with blower motors not working any more is typically the blower motor resistor. It's a high-current multi-tap resistor. Usually replacing that resistor fixes most of the issues I've seen here. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much, the resistor, is it attached to the motor itself? im assuming it is, i have seen it laid out that way before, thanks, Matt

picked up the chevy part, realized when i took it apart, that there was a short that happened on the wire harness, i bought new clips and fixed that, and also installed the new resistor, and it works great now....just a quick update, thanks again
