so like an idiot i was using a flat head wrapped in a towel to remove my tailgate badge and now have 3 tiny scratch like chips down to the metal on each side [by the emblem on the left and the "o" of silverado on the right] of where the badge was at.. i tried buffing it out and actually laughed at myself afterwards bc i knew it wouldnt work.
i must say the rest looks great, i just wished i used a plastic putty knife or something instead.

any suggestions on a way to fix? or should i just take it to the body shop?

    thanks guys.

You could always use touch up paint. Won't look perfect but won't be very noticeable from far away.
