although its illegal i've been seeing some guys taking the orange reflectors out of their headlights & then sealing them back up. anyone know how to do this without having to bake the stock chevy headlight?

What year is your truck? In some older models, (Like mine a 1998) the corner marker light is separate from the headlight. Instead of having any orange in my sidemarker lights, my are completely clear. My pictures are a little old, I just recently installed them.

That OK, around where I live, I have not seen any trucks like yours with no orange in the corner marker light, but I'm sure its possible to remove.

I have done that on my 05' Silverado, and I also did the headlights as well. I just took an 1875 watt hair dryer and turned it on hot, and believe it or not that got them to seperate. Too much stuff can happen to them in the oven, or a heat gun would work as well. I had mine on for 4 years and I never got stopped, nut I always have my running lights on so there was always some kind of amber color in them.

I dont think you can on that year of truck. Most people just buy clear ones.

I have this done to my 06. I done mine in the oven and im not to happy with the results. So Ill be buying some new ones soon and redoing them with a heat gun or hair dryer. This time ill be keeping the reflectors, but ill be painting them white or black instead of removing them completely.

ah ok gotcha, I havnt even had a close look but I thought the corner ambers might be inserts that can be taken out from inside the light
