Dose anyone know how to tell if the airbag clock spring is bad? If it is bad can it cause the airbag to deploy?

If it is bad, your air bag light on the dash should be on. I'm not sure if it can cause the air bag to deploy suddenly or not, just be careful.

The clock spring in my wife's Durango went out and she lost the horn and steering wheel radio controls. It wasn't too bad to replace once you get the wheel off.
