I have a 99 Silverado with a 4.8, code reader tells me cylinder 7 misfire.
New plugs same problem. Can I swap the coil from another cylinder to see if the problem follows the coil?

Ditto on my end... Also the misfire could be a fuel injector as well.

The coil and wires made no difference so I pulled the injector tonight full of dirt and rust. I'll see if I can find a replacement tomorrow.

Ordered a new injector I'll be able to put it in tomorrow. Does anyone know if you need to refil the fuel rails with fuel before you start the truck ?
