I picked up a 97' Tahoe, and where the tranny line goes into the Plastic tank on the radiator , It's kind of a strange looking connection, but it seems to be leaking coolant, no tranny fluied. There is a large nut shaped thing right next to the plastic tank, but it don't look you should put a wrench on it. Any ideas on how to stop the leak? Thanks, Steve

Talk to your auto parts store. There are special tools for removing these fittings any thing else and you will wind up breaking something .. ie the radiator.
These are cheap, only a couple bucks and easy enough to use. It may be that you just need to pull the fitting apart clean the area of debris and reinsert.
Remember to drain the radiator first. LOL
