I put too much pressure on my 2008 Chevy Suburban LTZ DVD Nav touch screen yesterday and it cracked. The actual LCD looks ok but the touch panel is all cracked.Been sick to my stomach all morning researching that I may have to replace the whole unit for thousands.

Question: Any way to replace just the touch panel? If so where? How?

What are my other options? What about a GM replacement? BTW, I have a lease so if I have to replace the whole unit, it has to be replaced w genuinue GM parts.

    I have OnStar also.

I'm not sure if you can replace the screen or not, but you can check www.gmpartsclub.com for a new navigation.

If you really were not pushing that hard... see if your dealer will replace it under the 3-36 warranty.
