I frequent craigslist when looking for something or Im bored.. Buy quite often on Ebay also.. Craigslist you deal with all kinds.. Ive traded vehicles a few times on there, sold some on there..
What I hate is when I go to sell a vehicle on there and then a company claiming to want to help me sell a vehicle continuessly calls my phone even after telling them its SOLD!!! Take me off your list... nope 3 days later same calls again..
Or how about them adds of bikes or tractors or nice trucks that are only like $3500 and are obviously at least 10k. Always asking you to reply to a email address instead of through craigslist..Theyll ship it to you and have money transferred through a 3rd party after your satisfaction... Yeah right!!! Thats them scammers doing some Phishing they call it..or if nieve enough to send them some greenbacks theyll take them too..
    BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

I am not sure we can call this seller (or buyer) a crackhead. A fully restored Ferrari Dino 246 GT-S can sell for as much as 500,000 dollars.

I guess a grand for a thermostat housing isn't so bad.

sounds about right. I quoted a guy $50 more than my asking price when he called me at 5am. He had the nerve to ask WHY I quoted more.. Didn't call back after I hung up on him lol

That's why I hate to even bother with it. But only $50? I forget when I fall back asleep but I had one guy call back at a decent hour and he said could I knock off the $250 I added since he called back haha.

This one is interesting. You want me to cut the cat off your truck? I bet that it is not even his truck

on a side note. I did find a guy parting out an 2004 denali. He will sell me the projection headlights from it for $75 for the pair. I might jump on those considering I just sold my standard headlights for $100 for the set.

Guy probably has a schedule when the truck is left alone while the owner is away or something. Owner away, bye bye cats.

I didn't go out and research any crazy CL ads...but my general gripe with CL is about pricing. Everybody thinks their junk is worth way too much money. People think used electronics or furniture or vehicles or whatever is the same value as new. Get a clue. You're selling on Craigslist ... not some high end auction house. I can usually tell within 10 seconds of looking at the ad whether or not the seller is on planet earth.

The guy I found today is ridiculously under priced. He is parting out an 2004 yukon denali. Has tons of parts, dash bezel, radio, switches, cluster, you name it. Not to mention all the body parts. He just said make me an offer. I grabbed a spare mirror switch for $5
