I know this is kinda off-the-wall but does anyone know of people swapping out their LS based motor in a 1/2ton to a Cummings motor??

I though it would be cool to put a disel in a 1/2 ton truck.

    Thanks

Cummins is a good engine, but you're looking for a ton of work.

There's a guy locally that has put a 12 valve into a late 90s model 1/2ton. No idea what all he had to do... but i know that its extensive lol

Drop a Duramax in it. Don't pollute a nice 1/2 ton Chevy with a Cummins engine.

I wish a Duramax would work but Duramx is to big to "fit" in the 03 body style i believe. I had seen/read somewhere (i dont remember where though) that it had been done. LOL
