I used string on the bow tie and dental floss on the letters.

:great: I like trucks with a clean tailgate. I removed all the badges on my truck, and removed the "Chevrolet" letters on the tailgate. I like how you cleaned up yours, and the "Rad" is cool on the back.

Thank you, if the weather werent so bad I would have started on the doors also. I dont understand why Chevy uses gold on the bow tie?

I think it's gold because it makes it stand out with the black. Your options are to keep it gold, buy an aluminum replacement, or take it off and paint it any color. My dad took his off (two bolts found on inside of grill) and painted it white to match the truck. I kept mine gold, but installed the chrome billet grill :glasses: 9972&Nu=brand&Nty=1

not very hard, the string is used to saw through the tape and then I used my fingers to peel off the tape that is still on the panel. When I am done I wax the area.

Removed the lettering from the doors and amazing the dirt that gets trapped there.
