I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. I've been wanting to lift my truck for a while now, but the more I look around the more I see trucks like mine lifted. So I've been thinking of lowering it??.. Just wanting to get you guys opinion.. Should I lower my 04 2500HD or should I lift it?..

i also say lift, not a fan of lowering. esp. when you you need to go off road, speed bumps , pot holes and big puddles of water.

If your gonna do anything to it financially lifting it would make more sense. Most lift kits are made for 1500 and regular 2500 series trucks. HD 2500 series trucks usually run a little more to lower.

I love my lifted 2500HD! Sitting stock, the Chevys look to similar in ride height to a 2-wheel drive so I would say lift it!

I say do what you want and don't worry too much about what everyone else has. Just make yours stand out from everyone else's.

I would say lift it, the only trucks I would ever lower would be a half ton 2wd or a mini truck or something.. what kind of lift do you want though? a body lift is cheap and easy, suspension lifting these trucks is a hassle in the front end
