    Hi everyone!

My '98 Sub has been giving us major headaches, started out with a fuel pump problem, got that replaced now the battery drains overnight. We are pretty sure the culprit is the lighted vanity mirrors, the covers have been "accidently" torn off and unless you place them just so, the light will still be on. Sooooo, how do you disconnect the lights? The owner's manual is no help.

Thanks for any help and advice!

You should be able to remove the light bulbs themselves. Pry the lenses out with a small flat bladed screwdriver or knife and just pop the lenses out then the bulbs.

Thanks for the reply 84fiero123! My husband ended up breaking a bulb so he removed the visors and there was a "quick" connect connection (?) that he was able to disconnect right under the attachment point. It solved the problem! She started right up like always!! I love my suburban!!
