Do you call it Soda or Pop?

    It was very hard for me getting stationed in other states lol. Asking what kind of coke they had and all I would get was " coke is coke sir" lol

    I say coke when I am referring to any carbonated drink.

    Here in California, people say soda, pop, and coke. It just depends on the persons preference.

    I call it soda. Most of the rest of my family calls it pop. Not sure why I call it soda....

    Ditto . i had a teacher when i was in 5th grade was from Northern Mo. asked me to get him a pop . i said a pop? i also said ill give you a pop ....upside the head ... lol he laughed & said ok ya rebel go get me a Coke . i said now i understand what ya want .. lol


    alot of oldtimers around here including my grandparents when they were alive called em belly washers .

    Forget the Soda-Pop. That's stuff is bad for you

    We got Pabst Blue Ribbon; In long necks. Can't get any better than that.

    I've always heard it called coke...but I do agree that when I ask for a beer, I say Ziegenbock or the brand name I want...never want to end up with Pigs Eye or Busch!
