Hey guys I just replaced my front brakes and now I'm looking to do the back. The fronts were so worn out I didn't have a hard time getting the rotor off. But, now I'm doing the rears, and today I couldn't get the drum cover off. I realize theres two holes that you can put bolts in to pull the cover off if it's frozen like mine. My first question is, what thread size are those bolt holes? I have a bunch of nuts/bolts sittin around and none of them worked, so if anyone knows the size thatd be great. My second question is, can you get away with completing the job with just the brake shoe retaining spring tool? picked on up at sears today for 10 bucks but they had an adjuster and some other multi tool kit for 30, didnt feel like spending the money.
