Hi. Wondering if anyone else has gotten a "Left Rear Door Ajar" message when the door is shut. Overhead lights stay on and the power lock on that door won't work. Is there a sensor in the door that controls this ?

Yep it should be on the door or the door jam, year make and model would help us more.. But it is most likely bad and will need to be replaced.

Sorry. It's a 2005 Suburban LS. I don't see a sensor on the door jam.

It also might be built into the latch.. I forgot about that. I am not to sure on your truck but if there isnt a switch then there is a good chance that you have it build into the latch..
