    Hello,

I have recently purchased a 1994 GMC Suburban SLE 4x4 4dr, and today I lost both 2nd gear and reverse does anyone know how much it costs to get either a new or rebuilt transmission for my suv? Im asking because at the moment the suv is my daily commuter to and from work, which is 35-40 miles away from where I live.

    Thanks in advance for advice

A carry out trans with you doing installation from Jasper and a few other reputable mfrs runs around $1300, installation normally runs around $400.
The Jasper website is set up to provide certified installers that can also do warranty work.

Is it worth it to hold onto a spare transmission for my suburban?
