DTC Question/ Had IPC LED`s Replaced

I recently had the bulbs in my IPC replaced to LED`s. There are no problems with the bulbs or the cluster, but I scanned my OBDII port with my scan tool and there is a code stored. It is P0650. Which is a Malfunction Indicator Lamp circuit malfunction.
I want to know if anyone has had this code after work has been done on your IPC, such as bulb replacement, stepper motor replacement, etc?
If so, what did you do to correct the issue?

What I really want to know if this a common issue whenever repairs are made on IPC`s? If so, then the code should delete itself if there is no other problems. Or I can delete the code with my scan tool.
