Driving down the interstate with ice cold air blowing. Then it starts blowing hot air and then it switched over to just cool so what happened.

Second on a 99 suburban why do the rear windows one goes halfway one with all the way. Thanks

The AC problem sounds like it could be a temp actuator moving by it'self. The actuator moves a door that directs air flow over the heat core, or the AC evaporator.

Or, the AC compressor is turning off and on, and not keeping the evaporator cold.

Rear windows on burb should go all the way. You may have a blockage, or a worn out regulator. It's pretty easy to pull the door panel and take a look inside to see what's going on.
