91 Chevy Sub 1500, 5.7, 700r4/4L60, 3:42 gears, 4X4. Doing the typical newbie thing here and asking a lot of questions but I have just had this rig for a couple of months and am absolutely in love with it. I recently found a dual fan set up at the local pull and save and they only want $35.00 for it. The only thing stopping me from getting it and replacing the mechanical fan is was wondering if I will have to take it to my mechanic to have the idle RPM reset? I broke an alternator belt one time on a ford tempo and I thought it was going to tear it self apart at idle.
