engine mods

    i have a 90 gmc sierra v6 what are some mods i can do to beef up my engine while having it rebuilt?

    It all depends on how fast you wanna spend! The more you spend, the faster you'll go!

    flat top pistons, bigger cam with springs, Eddie intake and blend the centuries on the throttle body and the intake to match. Get a custom chip to match the specs of the engine and also do headers and 2.5" dual exhaust. REALLY makes that v6 scream! There's a guy here in town that did this with his v6 1500 and is faster than a local Z06

    Best parts source for this motor? Fair priced headers? Which cam?

    the words "fair" and "priced" no longer belong in the same sentence. As far as parts source, check eBay. I've found lots of name brand products for much better prices there. I got a set of shorty jba headers for my V6 for $150
