1992 Chevy C1500, 5.7L V8, 700R4, TBI. Recently replaced Ignition Control Module that was tested and shown defective, reluctor(pickup) tested ok, Ign coil tested ok. Also replaced Cap and Rotor, old ones looked burned on contacts. New problem: Engine shudders while accelerating under load, shudder more pronounced with AC on. Prior to ICM & cap und rotor replacement, engine had smooth and steady acceleration. All vacuum hoses connected. Firing order ok. All fluids ok. No bad codes. Is it possible to incorrectly install ICM, distributor cap or rotor?? Thinking I goofed somewhere.... Any ideas?
