I need to take the emissions pipes off of the exhaust headers on my 84 C-10. I was going to try a brake line wrench and see if that will work. I'm sure an open end wrench will not work, because I imagine the fittings are rusted on pretty good and the fillting will round off. I have periodically been spraying PB Blaster on the fitting hoping to free them up some.
I also thought about cutting the pipe and putting a socket on the fitting, but if it rounds off I will have a fitting I can't get out and a hole I can't plug.

Has anyone tried any other methods and had success? I may try taking these off this weekend.
    Thanks
