    It actually wouldn't matter if your feet couldn't reach the pedals -- since the truck never moves!

    I stopped my duals just before the rear axle and let them dump there.

    They sound a lot louder as they reverb off the pavement.

    If your duals are routed all the way out to the back of the truck, it will be a lot quieter as you have noticed.
