A few months back I installed a Kenwood DNX6990 head unit. I used a Pac Audio RP5-GM31 interface harness. In the description of the harness it says that the factory mic for the bluetooth would continue to work. Well the mic is not working. Any ideas? The radio shows that the phone (a Droid Razr) is paired via bluetooth but when I make or receive calls the mic is not working.

Factory mic will only work for onstar, install your aftermarket mic for the aftermarket Bluetooth. That's assuming you're talking about the aftermarket Bluetooth? Or are you still trying to reuse the factory Bluetooth?
