Fitting at combination valve damp?? Need fix

Where the rear brake line connects to the aluminum combination valve there must be a very slight leak because it is damp. I have tightened up the fitting and it is still damp, this is on a long brake line. Can something like a crush washer kinda like the ones used on the brake caliper lines be used to fix this? I need to see if there is enough line to cut off and re-flare. I just wanted to see if there is a fix that is acceptable.
    Thanks
