I have to replace the flange/donut gasket on the drivers side where the manifold meets the exhaust. It this a hard fix? Has anyone had to do it? Does anyone know the cost of having to take it somewhere and have it done?

Easy. Couple of bolts to undo clean the surfaces and install the new donut. Be careful and soak the fastners with some penetrating oil to help loosen them up. It is easy to break a stud if you overtorque.

Cost for a shop? Parts and labor $75 - $175 depending on where you go I suppose.
