    I have a 1999 2500HD silverado 6.0L.

It has factory installed fog lights they have always worked. Glue around one of the lenses failed and water entered the housing and blew the bulb. So instead of replacing I just took out the housings and zip tied the wires up.

A year later I got new lens housings and put them in with new bulbs. But now the fog lights wont turn on. I have replaced the cargo/fog light switch and I have checked the fuse and relay in the fuse center on drivers side under hood.

Is there a fuse somewhere else I am missing I cannot understand why these are not turning on now?

did you cover the lighting harness when you took it all out? if not, then water and salts from the road will get inside the lamp seat and corrode to the point that it will either break, or it wont have a good conductive path. on my g/f's grand am, awter got into her break light assembly and corroded the steel connectors and it did that

I know in my truck there's a fuse box located on the dash board only accesable when you open the drivers side door. It's right next to the steering wheel. I dont know if your year truck has that or not.
