Front diff oil change

    i changed the rear diff oil but when i looked at the front, i was unsure how to get to it. i know i'll have to pull off that differential gaurd thing, but there were so many bolts on that diff that it kind of confused me. what all do i have to do? also, does 2.5 quarts of gear oil sound right? thats how much i put in the back, but when i drained it, there was only maybe less than 2 quarts.

    Fluid Fill capacity's

    Differential, with 8.25 ring gear Front..........3.0 pints
    Differential, with 9.25 ring gear Front..........3.7 pints

    ugh, i'm going to have to make another trip up to auto zone for more oil
