Front Differential?

As of last sunday, I developed a noise in the front end. What I believe to be the front differential maybe. It doesn't make any noise under 15-20 mph. After the noise starts, it speeds up the more I keep accelerating. Almost like a U-joint but it doesn't squeak and it doesn't fade out any. I was just curious what I should check first once I get back from college.

prob best bet have someone get outside and listen as you get it up to speed, could always be brakes dragging a little, or possibly wheel bearings, always can pull wheels off inspect pads and rotors see that they turn freely and no uneven wear, then that hub has no wobble or excessive free play, then grab cv joints and see if there is any play in u joints at all, thats how i would do it, and always check front diff level just in case. good luck
