Need some advice. I have been looking for an annoying Rattle noise coming from the front end. Its worse when hitting small potholes at slow speed. I have been under the suburban with a rubber Mallet striking everything i can think of trying to duplicate the sound. I finally found it.
Its coming from the Rt. front caliper. when i hit it, i get that metallic rattling sound. I checked the caliper mounting bolts and they are tight. Are there anti rattle clips on the pads that could have come loose? any suggestions? the brake pads look to have some life left in them. When i ride the brakes while going over bumps there is no Rattling noise. Thanks in advance.

Check the rattle clips. They may have broken
