are wider offset rims harder on front ends, im running 15in by 10in wide rims with about 4.5 backspace i think cause they stick out about 3-4 in past the fenders on my 97 gmc 1/2 ton 4wd , and does a wider and more offset rim make the tires rub worse cause im running 33x12.50r15 on my truck with a 3 in body lift and they rub pretty bad in reverse.

I have 16X10 with 4.5 offset on my '96 Suburban with a 6" lift and 35's. Had to trim the front bumper a little. I haven't had any unusal front end wear. I have over 200,000 miles on the Burb. I rebuild the front end (balljoints, tie rod etc etc) every 100,000 miles and the parts have normal wear and tear. I do grease the front end between 3,000 and 5,000 miles.
