So I finally got my fuel tank down so I can replace the fuel pump, of course the fuel connectors on the sender wont budge. I cant get them off (I broke my tool trying). I am so tired of fighting these and plan to just cut the lines to get the tank out. Once out I want to eliminate them. Any reason I cant clamp the fuel line to the new sender? I will install a splice to fix what I cut anyway. Any down sides to what I want to do?
