is the pump in the super rediculiously priced modules for the 97 k1500 6 cyl. actualy the
    replacement, #REPC314532 or
    US-747-227 ?

i can understand the frustration of the person who removes the module to find it simple to remove the inoperable pump and find the collusion of the reman and GM policy makers to make sure they can't get a replacement pump without buying the whole module, note the prices up here are $500 bucks! and the pumps noted above are $30 to $70. So WTF?

i'm going to bite the bullet tommow and get the whole shebang but still quite perturbed that i will be chucking the whole module for a $30 pump.
Thats about $300 worth of good beer down the 'ol sewwy hole, just doesn't make me happy even though all the suppliers get a load. Pissed actualy!
